A planetary gear reducer consists of the sun gear, planet gears, planet carrier and ring gear.
The planetary gear reducer has a reduction mechanism in which the output shaft and the input shaft are on the parallel axis by connecting the output shaft of the motor and the central gear of the reducer (as shown in the illustration below).

The sun gear will drive the planet gears which is mounted on a planet carrier and rotates with the ring gear. So as to achieve the purpose of deceleration, transmission is driven by the planet gear and equal torque must be balanced in the process of the transmission.
